Before the Learning Annex, Beth was President of Beth Greer Communications, a New York City based public relations company with clients like national magazines and top advertising agencies. Recently, Beth went back to her journalistic roots (she used to write for Savvy and Us Magazines) and now writes for publications like the San Francisco Chronicle and the Scope Newspaper Group in Marin County, CA (hub of America’s organic food movement). Her articles help unravel some of the complexities surrounding the toxic chemicals found in the everyday things we come into contact with.
Beth is a testament to how making small lifestyle changes can make a huge difference in one’s health. By using alternative methods of healing, she eliminated a tumor without drugs or surgery. In 2007 Beth was named a recipient of the "100 Magnificent Marin Women Award" by Search for the Cause, a non-profit organization that investigates how exposure to chemicals in our daily lives increases the risk of cancer. The Award recognizes women in Marin County who are "inspirational, courageous, visionary and passionate: women who stand out in their chosen career path; women who share their wisdom and their commitment with the community, the country and the world."
Today, Beth divides her time between writing, public speaking and teaching classes on the sources of toxicity in the body. She lives in Marin County, CA with her husband Stephen Seligman and their 11-year-old daughter Casey.
